I have tried all types of orthotics, orthopedic ugly shoes $$$ and couldn't walk due to pain w/out limping. If you have foot pain, try these stylish sandals: Aetrex "Catalina" Gladiator with adjustable soft leather straps. There are several colors. These sandals have been the answer to my multiple foot problems. I wear these sandals all day & on hard tile floors. No break-in period needed & no hard bumps that cause pain. The footbed is so cushioned (with removable footbed with gel tiles, called "mozaic", that can be peeled off where you have painful pressure areas (I like the Mozaic footbeds the best, not all Aetrex have this feature). They also have a built in Lynco-support (check it out) with memory foam & nice arch support. These sandals have me walking normally, no limping & with ALOT LESS PAIN. The Soft leather straps are adjustable with velcro, which is great for my wider forefoot or can be adjusted to swelling/sizing. Occasionally, I have to re-adjust the straps. Walking with a limp, throws everything off, if my gait is not correct it leads to knee & low back pain, which I have noticed. Some Aetrex Sandalistas Sandals has a way of sizing called the "Last" (example a thick foot vs a thin foot). This sandal works well with most any size of the 'Last". I wear a wide C/D, but these are average sized, but works for me as to the sizing. I have had surgery for 2 Morton Neuromas on my left foot,metatarsalgia, mallet toe, plantar fascia & a high arch that is falling, resulting in severe chronic terrible painful foot that has limited my abilities to walk, etc. The only reason for telling you my foot problems was to tell you how severe my foot condition is & these sandals have helped me so much! They have helped me to walk without pain. Do a search for "Aetrex Sandals" on Amazon to find these sandals. People with severe foot pain understands there is a point if you find something that works, let others know.

Belleville TR560 Khyber Lightweight MultiCam Mountain Hybrid 115R Review

Just did a 25K movement in these up and down hills and mountains in Afghanistan with no problems what so ever. These boots have awesome grip that allow for some steep hill climbing that my older boots would slip on easily. They are not waterproof but they air dry really fast, which helps when your feet start to sweat. But they also keep your feet warm during the cold nights. Never had to break them in I just put them on and went.

I really love this Naot pump. I purchased the Peacock/Violet combo, which is a very subtle, beautiful purple. I hover between a 41 and 42, and I appreciate the ease of ordering from Amazon with its free shipping and returns. In this case, the 41 fit my size 10-10.5 foot perfectly. The footbed is narrow-medium width, and is comfortable from the first day of wear. The Trendy pump is a little sleeker than my other favorite, the Naot Attitude, which is jauntier and more eclectic. I love both!

Inov-8 Bare-XF 260 Shoe,Kettle Camo/Grey,13 M US Review

First, here's a little background on me. I own a CrossFit affiliate and I teach 95% of all of our classes. Before buying this pair, I went through 2 pairs of inov-8's over some 2000 classes taught. They simply hold up better than any other shoe I have worn at our gym and the fit is great. That being said, I am underwhelmed with my new Bare-XF. My main issue is the center velcro strap almost never stays put. Although the idea is nice and you can certainly wrap this shoe around your foot, it doesn't stay that way through even the lightest of workouts or training sessions. Also, it would be great to have a little more support at the top of the toe box to help with movements like double unders and burpees. While the high percentage of rubber/plastic is nice for rope climbing, I just have a hard time being positive about a shoe that cannot meet the most basic need: to stay put.
