They are an all-around excellent, more feminine substitute for the comfort and stability of sneakers. These shoes are my "wear all the time" favorites ... and I DO wear them pretty much all the time, summer & winter. They are great - good arch support, comfortable insoles (which could be replaced with custom orthotics, but the ones included are excellent), These shoes can be worn with just about anything (except formal attire) during pretty much all seasons because of the special lining and they have good traction for slippery spots in colder/wet weather. The selection of colors is good, with black working well for winter and the beige/tan ones especially nice for summer wear.
I really favor slip-on shoes as being most comfortable and convenient. The criss-cross design is an extra touch of style to the basic "ballerina" style slip-on shoe. They are ideal to wear traveling-quick and easy off & on at the airport! - but although they are slip-ons, they don't slip off the foot/heel during normal wear if you get the correct size. I found that they were a bit larger than some Rockport shoes I've worn so I returned the first pair to get a half-size smaller (which is actually my regular slze) and they were perfect.

They are very well made - how many American shoes are leather lined leather with an arch support? What a beautiful shoe! The straps, the bow! They were so comfortable when I tried them on. Fabulous padded insole, secure strap, slim heel. I ordered a 5.5, 6, and 6.5 to make sure I had the perfect fit. The 6 felt best...it's also the size that fits me most often (not always) in dance shoes; whereas I'm usually a 6.5 in street shoes. At the end of one hour of dancing, both of my big toes and the top of one foot were bleeding where the shoe had dug in. I really hoped they would break-in so I wore them briefly 3 other times...with adhesive bandages. They still dug in enough to reopen the sores that were under the bandages. I guess my search continues for a cute *and* comfortable smooth shoe.

I bought this in the green for my work.

On the plus side - the leather is lovely and soft and the color is true to the picture. It has great organization - there is a place for everything and once you get used to it, you no longer have to ferret through your bag, but just reach in and pull exactly what you want out - which is exactly what I need from my bag when I am with clients (nothing worse than trying to get something and then having to stop the entire conversation while you go "I know I have it here") It holds my ipad, phone, wallet and a several small notebooks with ease.
It has a nice wide base and doesn't fold into a heap when you put it down.

But on the negative side - I am walking through the streets of New York with this bag and it doesn't have a top zipper, only a magnetic clasp and that just doesn't feel secure enough to me. I get hyper vigilant when I am on the subway, and really, I don't want to give that much energy to my bag. And equally bad, it's been raining heavily and for the first time, the inner contents of my bag got wet. So that's where it loses its stars...

If you drive places, then this is a perfectly good bag, great size, carries lots without being cumbersome and I would recommend it. But if you run around on the streets, this bag is not secure enough or weatherproof enough.
