First of all, the positives:

This is a beautiful high-heeled clog/mule. The leather on the inside is velvety-soft, the shoe itself is so well-constructed that it seems nearly indestructible; it's extremely solid, heavy, and durable. If you threw these things at somebody, you'd probably kill them. They're very good-looking in a funky, bohemian, retro-'70s type of way.

The negatives: although these shoes *look* sturdy and relatively practical, they are extremely unstable to walk in. I am no stranger to wearing heels, and these shoes caused me to trip just taking a few steps across the floor inside my own house, on a perfectly level surface.

You *will* slip, trip, and nearly fall over sideways. The height of the heel is not the main problem, there is just something "off" about the way this shoe is balanced, or the placement of the platform .

Again, I am not a newbie at wearing heels, but these shoes are a sprained ankle, or a fall, waiting to happen. They *look* like a more practical alternative to heels, but they're not.
The shoes are perfectly comfortable in terms of how they feel on your feet, but they are not comfortable in terms of walking smoothly and confidently.

I'm soooo disappointed, because these clogs are so high-quality, good-looking, and well-made, but they're a triumph of design over function.
