The IRON color is awesome, and the sandal looks just as I expected it too...But something funky has happened with the sizing here. I don't know if it's Birkenstock, or if Amazon has the wrong sizing conversion chart applied...But I am a pretty average size 8 US Womens, and the chart said to order a 39. The 39 was just too big, it felt closer to a size 8.5 or a 9. I returned the item for a size 38. If that is too big...then I will go with a 37, but I seem to recall from ages ago that 38 is my European shoe size. Anyway, another reviewer also mentioned the sizing issue, wish I'd heeded the warning and saved myself the trouble of having to exhange these babies!
