I have to wear certain supported shoes because of a foot problem and this was one of the ones recommended by my doctor. I had never tried the Velcro fastener kind before and was anxious to see what it was like. The main thing about this purchase was that it was about a hundred dollars less than everywhere else. The shoe was fine. I had had a previous bad experience receiving another kind of shoe that was supposed to be leather and was actually about 50% mesh. This one was completely leather. It feels fine when I walk on it. I had originally thought I would get another if I could get it at that same price. However, the shoe seemed just a little loose for my particular foot. I have custom inserts, so I can't get "D". The 4E seemed just a tad too loose, not enough to regret buying it. But now as I write this review, I see that the shoe I ordered was a 4E and they are available in 2E. Therefore, I have ordered another one. I have not noticed that it is too heavy, as mentioned by another customer.
