I won a raffle at a local country club event. It was for a driver I did not want, but they allowed me to trade it in for pro shop credit. Since I did not need any clubs, $450 went a long way. I had previously worn the Ecco street shoes, and was impressed. I had seen the Footjoys around, and wondered why their rubber spikes looked different than the Eccos did. Simply put, the preformance of the golf shoe is not to the level of the Ecco. The comfort is there. When I wore the Ecco, I walked away impressed. After wearing the Footjoy, it was comfortable, and nice, but I was less impressed.
