The genuine leather is soft, the bag holds its shape really well. One can wear it on the shoulder or by the smaller handles.
It is a briefcase, so I loaded one day the bag with some of my paper folders and netbook plus I tried to stuff glass case (sunglasses) and the inside trim got detached. It seems like it is glued on the front part. So I took it to a shoe repair person and they sowed it nicely. Since then (November 2010) I have had no complaints. It serves its purpose, easy to wipe if gets dirty. My bag is black leather
