I am sorry that the person above had problems with their Danskos. I found it's best to break them in over time, especially if you have never wore them before. Danskos have a lot of support & they will mold to your foot.If you are not use to that kind of support you will hurt. I found it best to wear them a few hours and build your time up to a whole day, otherwise you will be bothered by the support that you did not get from your other shoes. I know that I don't hurt any more. I use to wear Born shoes all day and I noticed my lower back and foot arches were hurting at the end of the day. Since I've been wearing the Danskos I don't have any problems with my lower back or foot arches any more. I am a Nurse Practitioner so I am on my feet for hours and I do a lot of walking, I love my Dansko's and I think they are well worth the money. I have a few pairs.
