I have worked in heavy construction for the past 30+ years. I'm picky about my boots, your feet must stay dry and comfortable all day or else...I have always wore the tall lace up boots with eyelets. This time I thought I would try the slip on's for the first time. I'm totaly happy with them. They fit me better then any boot I ever had (atleast that I can remember, they do NOT work up and down on my heal, They are water proof, good traction with out the deep cleates that track in mud, They do not slip off in the mud.
These boots are now 4 months old and still holding up good, still water proof. If anything I would be concerned about is, if the inside lining will hold up as you force your foot inside it does pull on the matieral. I bought an extra long boot "shoe horn" (spoon) to help ease that concern.
I buying a pair for my son for christmas.
