I have two other pairs of Bed:Stu shoes -- actually one pair of shoes and one pair of boots, and they are both absolutely fantastic in build quality and comfort. These unfortunately do not feel anything like the other two (though to be fair the others cost a lot more than these). They are extremely stiff, like literally strapping a warped piece of plywood to your feet. The shape in the picture is exactly how the sole is shaped, it goes way up at the toes like clown shoes and forces your foot into that shape since they don't really bend at all. The leather upper is also not of the same quality as my others. It's not terrible, just not nearly as good as other Bed Stu shoes I have seen.

If you ignore my review and decide to order these anyway... I'd say they are sized a little small. Maybe just under a half size small. Though it could be partly that they are so stiff. If you are typically between sizes, you may want to go with the larger one. Especially compared to other Bed:Stu shoes that I have found to run slightly large.

Also, the soles are very slippery but that's pretty typical for brand new leather soles. Just scuff them up a bit before you try to walk around and hurt yourself (if you decide to keep them of course).

If these had better soles, they would be a decent pair of shoes. Not at all spectacular, just ok. However with the soles so stiff they are to me absolutely unwearable. They are definitely going back to Amazon.
