Birkenstock Bern Clog,Soft Java,38 M EU Review

I just received these. I bought the orange in the regular width. I put leather waterproofer/sealant on them and the color is still nice and vibrant, with the edges being a tad darker.

I have friends who rave about these so I thought I would try them out.

This is my second pair of Birkenstock shoes, however the first pair I bought in the soft footbed (same style) and narrow size. They were very comfortable but after a few times wearing them I started to realize that they were too small in the toe area. I had my feet measured and it turned out they are a D width but I have really small ankles. I never knew I had wide feet! So, now that I have the right size they feel so wonderful. I am excited to wear them in, but even out of the box they felt pretty good on my feet - amazing what the right size will do.

I love the color but I think it would also be nice to have a neutral color such as taupe and the suede was incredibly comfortable so I may have to get those in the right size.
