I bought this shoe from Amazon because at the time it was a better deal than Zappos, but Zappos has a ton of feedback about it and my decision to buy was based on all the Zappos reviews, so go check 'em out.

In the meantime, I can only add that the reviews that say this is a *gorgeous* shoe but a fussy fit for anything but the most average foot are entirely correct. Knowing I have wide feet and reading those other reviews, I bought a size up (11) and amazingly they fit perfectly with just a little stretch needed over one big toe. I have no bunions, but the left shoe made me suddenly feel as though I did because of where the stitching runs over the knuckle of the big toe. But having been forewarned by other reviews, and prepared to take care of that with some judicious stretching in that spot if I decided to keep them (which I did almost immediately), these fit like a glove to the point I hardly know I'm wearing shoes!

I love the soles -- they're not heavy at all -- and the support is perfect. I get the impression they will wear very, very well, and they're a perfect color to complement the sand suede uppers. They're visibly (though subtly) stitched, and I am very impressed with the construction: made to last.

That said, it took no time at all -- less than an hour of wearing around the house -- to soften up the suede out of the box and make me deliciously happy I'd bought them. Because they're suede and not a stiff leather, there can be a gap around the ankle that comes and goes as you walk -- this gap caused some Zappos reviewers to return the shoe -- but you can either tighten the laces or choose to ignore it, both of which worked well for me.

I think that large-size shoes (9 and up in ladies) are kind of in a sizing world of their own anyway that bears no commonality with sizing attributes in the smaller sizes; that said, this shoe in 11 fits me as perfectly as a 10 would lengthwise. If you're a 6, don't take this advice. But if you're a 9 or over and have even a slightly wide foot, order up. You'll be glad you did.

And these are truly as beautiful in person as they are in the picture. I bought the Sand Suede, and I have the pleasure of knowing that in a year or two when the suede starts looking a little less than new, and too dirty for my tastes, I can dye them blue and have a whole new pair. :)
