I'm a dockworker in New Jersey. These boots keep my feet warm during long, overnight shifts on the waterfront. The waterproofing works well but, for me, wore off after about six months of use (one winter). However, I'm very, very hard on my boots and I wear them out quickly. And six months isn't unusual for the lifespan of the waterproofing on a non-galosh style boot. Of course I still keep a pair of uncomfortable rubber boots around for when it really pours, but in day-to-day rain, slush and snow, these work very well to keep my feet dry and comfortable. The insulation makes them cold-weather only; even 50F temperatures will make your feet sweat in these. The boots can take a decent beating, too.

I'm about to buy another pair to replace my worn-out ones, so I'd recommend this product for anyone in need of a winter, steel-toed, durable and waterproof pair of work boots.
