The insole is a removable dual density Ultimate Shock Absorption footbed on Poron 4000 Comfort Cushion. The midsole is rubber and the shank is fiberglass. The outsole is composed of Vibram Christy Blown Rubber Wedge. Slip-resistant and non-marking. Made in USA by ISO 9001 Certified Shoe Company. Perfect for general work or iron workers. These boots almost alwayalways fit at least a half size smaller than normal (i.e. if you normally wear a 10, might try a 9.5 or 9).

The boot is very well made, and supremely comfortable. Near instant break-in, especially compared to a pair of Red Wings I got at about the same time. No functional complaints at all, but the colour of Tobacco Gladiator version is in fact a bit lighter, and significantly more orange than pictured. I wasn't happy with the colour at all until I darkened it up with some waterproofing compound a few times.
