I loved this boot in the light maple color and had been looking for a light colored bootie to wear for the spring. I came across this beautiful boot and was lucky enough to find one available in my usual size 8 in the Amazon Warehouse Deals at an excellent price. Unfortunately, there were no other reviews of this boot to know that it runs quite big! So I am here to tell you that it does... Not only is it quite long in the foot, it is wide in the foot area and wide in the ankle. I barely need to unzip the boot to slip them off. In fact, I'm sure I could take them off without unzipping them if I really tried. That being said, the boot seems well made and the leather is a bit softer than expected which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, I'm not sure going down a half size will ensure a correct fit for me since my feet re narrow and these boots run wide. Too bad, as they were just what I was looking for. My advise would be to size down a half size...
