Was a little skeptical about these boots at first, but figured I would give them a try. I have been a faithful Red Wings boot owner for almost 10 years, and like the simple style - no fancy insulation or ankle protection and no stitched sole.

I purchased a pair of these boots without the composite toe and they have been very comfortable. I will update based on how long they last. My boots tend to fail at the sole (splits due to constant up and down in automotive work).

Almost cheaper than a resole.

Nice quality leather and construction. Hard to find a composite toe in this price range - will be much easier to wear them to work where I need to pass through a metal detector (would have to take steel toes off and put through X-ray).
