Been wearing for a week,fast walking a few hours a day on groomed trails. Too early to comment on waterproofness or durability but overall first impressions are good. Comfortable out of the box, no blisters, feel 1/2 size smaller (I took this into account and bought 1/2 size up, fit well with my moderate cushion Thorlos). Don't think these would give adequate ankle support on rough trails because of the boot's construction; it isn't evident from the description, but if you look at the picture of the boot back, the upper section is actually a stretchy material, not a firm material. It is very comfortable on trails I frequent.Time will tell how well the construction holds up.
